Long Term Care Services

Long term care involves a variety of services designed to meet a resident’s health or personal care needs during a short or long period of time. Our suite of services help people live as independently and safely as possible when they can no longer perform everyday activities on their own.

Professionals with a personal touch

We count on our licensed nursing professionals to provide swift, accurate diagnoses and timely care for each of our residents. But their responsibilities go far beyond that: They are the “connection” between the operations management team at Bear Hill and the patients themselves. Our long-tenured nursing professionals lend a personal touch that helps residents feel “at home” every day.

Personal services that comprise routines

Simple though it may sound, that regular visit to the barber shop every three or four weeks—or to the hairdressing salon—helps establish routines for long term care residents that reinforce structure and provide a measure of regularity in their lives. At Bear Hill, our full-service salon and barbershop offer residents a comfortable, convenient environment for personal grooming.

comfort and communication

Bear Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has elevated the science of providing comfort for its residents to an art form. While our rooms are bright and cheerful, and our food service is tasty and nutritious, part of our success is due to the steps we take to provide easily accessible communication between our residents and their families and other loved ones.
